Co 2 assisted The Waynesboro Professional Firefighters Association, IAFF Local 5211 with a reported apartment building fire last evening. Eng 24-1 arrived on scene with smoke from the first floor. Crews stretched a line to the door. Volunteers and career staff made entry to find a stove fire with some extension to the wall and counter. The assignment was held to Co. 2 and Eng. 24-1. Fire was extinguished and overhaul completed.

The scene was turned over to the landlord.
