About Waynesboro VFD

Waynesboro Volunteer Fire Department is a 100% volunteer organization serving Waynesboro, Pennsylvania.

With a history reaching back to 1879, it split from the borough-owned station in 2023 but continues its mission to preserve life and property in Washington Township, Quincy Township, and all automatic or mutual aid response areas.

WVFD also promotes general, vehicle, and fire safety messages through education and advertisement.

Without community involvement, the WVFD cannot exist nor perform its mission—so please consider joining us or donating. Thank you for your support!

A small fire station with a sign reading “Mechanics S.F.E. & Hose Co. 1” houses two fire trucks in an open garage. The building is white with red accents, and the number “21” is visible on the front of one fire engine. The sky is clear with a few clouds.
