Members from both the operations and administration of the Waynesboro Volunteer Fire Department (WVFD) staffed a table during the 29th Annual 2025 Business Expo at the Waynesboro Area High School. This event was hosted by Greater Waynesboro Chamber of Commerce this past Saturday.

During the Expo, we spoke to members of the community about several life safety topics:

• Importance of smoke detectors and testing
• Planning your escape route
• General fire safety

Members passed out packets of information and souvenirs to future firefighters and answered any questions.
