The Waynesboro Volunteer Volunteer Fire Department (WVFD) received a generous donation from Patriot Federal Credit Union (PFCU) to assist in the purchase of an LED Fire Extinguisher Training Simulator. This simulator is used during Public Relation (PR) events, and training seminars on how to effectively operate a fire extinguisher in a time of emergency by using the PASS (Point Aim Squeeze Sweep) technique.

Accepting the check were members of the WVFD Operations & Administration Officers presented by PFCU’s Sarah Stansfield and Evana Giannini.

This donation places the WVFD over halfway to their goal! Should anyone want to donate to this project please send a check to 10 Virginia Ave. Waynesboro, PA 17268 with the word “Simulator” in the memo line.
